There really aren't a whole lot of sushi offerings on this part of town so when you get a decent place, it becomes quite popular. The staff is friendly and fast. Teriyaki bowls are the bread and butter here, but don't sleep on their sushi or poke bowls. The rice is perfectly balanced and the rolls are as good as any of the top places in town, albeit at a better price. Extra credit for being such a kindly, stable neighborhood fixture for decades. “ i absolutely love coming here for a quick cheap meal. the food is always hot and warm. very comforting. the staff are always so sweet however the lady at the front counter ALWAYS has a bad staring problem lol. it does make me really uncomfortable.. even in the reflection of the window i see her still staring at us lol. she's still really nice but it's just weird that she always stares at us. other than that it's a nice little place. their mochi is really good too. their Vegas and crunchy roll are SO good. their teriyaki bowls are good too. i honestly love everything i try here. ”
